This 'Love Is Blind' star says she doubted marriage amid fertility struggle

"Love is Blind" star Alexa Lemieux is opening up about her emotional struggle with fertility.
Lemieux, who met and married co-star Brennon Lemieux during Season 3 of the Netflix reality show, revealed in a new interview the toll fertility issues took on their relationship.
In a new episode of the "What's the Reality?" podcast from fellow "LIB" contestant AD Smith, Lemiuex got emotional recounting her struggle to get pregnant.
"It was hard. It was really hard," she told Smith. "I just remember one time breaking down. Like, 'Do you regret marrying me?' Because we really bonded over having kids together."
The couple, who emerged as one of the few successful pairs from the "LIB" season shot in Dallas, welcomed a daughter, Vienna, in July 2024. Her birth came after a difficult year, with Lemieux previously saying that the couple had undergone various fertility treatments and not found success.
"I don't know why I'm crying, because I have a baby," she told Smith, tearing up. "But it was hard, and I just remember thinking that it's never going to happen."
In the lead-up to the pregnancy, Lemiuex had begun injecting hormones, a common practice in fertility treatment. But, when they resulted in weight gain and mood swings, and still no pregnancy, the reality star revealed she needed to take a step back.
"We decided to put a pause because it was a lot of hormones that I was injecting, and so mentally I was not doing great at all," she said. "I was obviously very, very emotional, and from it, was gaining weight, so my body was off.
"Then I had people online pointing it out all the time, so that was really hard," Lemieux continued. "And then we just kind of decided to pause it. Let's regroup. And then I got pregnant. And it was a very healthy pregnancy and we're very blessed for that.
"It's not always the case, and so we were very, very lucky," she added.
