Name change alert! No more 'Hassel' for the Hoff

Who knew? The 'hassel' has been a major pain for The Hoff.

And so, on Thursday David Hasselhoff revealed his name change: The former Baywatch star will now officially be known as David Hoff. "I've been wanting to drop the 'hassel' from my life for year," he says in a YouTube video.

Granted, it's not such a big fix — he's been The Hoff to us for years. But now City Hall has to stand behind it. A "massive relief" for the Sharknado star, indeed.
