One cool car: a 'flawless' 1964 Chevy Chevelle SS

BURBANK, Calif. — Try as you may, you'll be hard-pressed to restore a 1964 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu SS to better condition than this one.
Richard Poulson, who showed off the car in his hometown here recently a day after completing the project, poured a lot of heart and soul into the restoration.
The paint alone is worth admiring. He says three coats of black, brought to a mirror finish, did the trick.
Poulson, a retired city worker, says he's been around cars his whole life. Much of his spare time has gone into restorations.
