Report: DeAngelo Hall involved in screaming match with Redskins reporter
Not even a week after he was fined $30,000 for his confrontation with an official in the Oct. 28 game between against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Washington Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall reportedly was involved in a loud, profane exchange with a Washington Post reporter after the team's practice Tuesday afternoon.
According to a tweet from NFL.com reporter Ian Rapoport, "#Redskins CB DeAngelo Hall was in a screaming episode with a reporter. Were separated by security, PR. Reporter & Hall later met to discuss."
Rapoport identified the reporter as ThePost's Redskins beat writer Mike Jones. Hall apparently felt that he had been misquoted in a story Jones wrote about the team's defensive back meetings.
Jones and Hall reportedly met after the nine-year veteran had some time to cool off, with Jones playing Hall the disputed quote.
The altercation was a slightly different tack than Hall took Thursday, when he pushed past a group of reporters seeking comment on his fine, with the classic directive, "Back up off me, bro."
