'Little Ben' Roethlisberger arrives in time for Thanksgiving

There's another Ben Roethlisberger in Pittsburgh now.

The Steelers quarterback and his wife Ashley became the parents of Benjamin Roethlisberger Jr., who weighed in at 7 lbs., 1 oz. late Wednesday night.

"We want to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers, it really means a lot to us," Roethlisberger announced on his website Thursday morning. "God is so good! We will have pictures to post this weekend. We hope you have a very Happy Thanksgiving."

Roethlisberger will need to work on holding his new son with his left arm, as he remains sidelined with a sprained SC joint and rib injury that will keep him out of action for the second straight week. The quarterback told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette back in September that he would miss a game for his son's birth if necessary.
