Houston Rockets mascot destroys Lakers fan with cake to face (VIDEO)
It's been a hard enough season for Lakers fans without being violently attacked by an NBA mascot wielding a giant dessert.
A man in a Kobe Bryant jersey at Houston's Toyota Center for Tuesday's 125-112 Rockets' win over the Lakers was chatting on his cell phone when Clutch, the Rockets' mascot absolutely unloaded, Gallagher-style, with a giant cake to the man's face and chest. The whole thing was caught on camera for the Rockets' TV audience to enjoy. (Watch closely at the 00:13 mark to witness the carnage.)
It seems that the gimmick is Clutch's signature move, as evidenced by this four-year old video of him drilling 23 different rival-team 'fans" with their own giant cake. But whether this was a pro wrestling style ruse or not, the mascot's sheer force here was quite impressive.
