Butler student drills half-court shot to win $18K on 'GameDay' (VIDEO)

Butler student Kevin Schwartz gave fans something Gordon Hayward couldn't deliver in 2010's NCAA tournament title game.

Shooting for a promotion on ESPN College GameDay on Saturday, Schwartz drilled a half-court shot on his first attempt to win $18,000 and end an 0-for-32 drought for students on the GameDay stage.

It was epic. Butler fans went crazy and the whole ESPN crew jumped up when he cashed it in. Jalen Rose was high-fiving Schwartz like Michigan won a national championship.

Of course, Butler's fans are still hurting from Hayward's 2010 half-court miss that barely banked too hard off the rim and would have given the Bulldogs an upset NCAA title against Duke.

It was the perfect way to start out a jam-packed Saturday of college hoops action.
