Oklahoma bench creates air guitar band while team beats Texas
Oklahoma topped Texas 73-67 Monday, and the Sooners' bench was jamming. Air guitars were shredding in imperfect unison during the Red River Rivalry, none louder than James Fraschilla.
Fraschilla, the air bassist in the below GIF, is a sophomore guard from Dallas and also Fran Fraschilla's son.
Fran compiled a 176-99 record during a decade of coaching Division I basketball, before joining ESPN as an analyst.
James played in 10 games during 2011-12 for the Sooners, scoring three points. This season, James has appeared four times for the Sooners (13-4, 4-1), adding a point to his career. Clearly, the younger Fraschilla's time on the bench has helped him develop moves comparable to another legendary air bassist.
