It didn't take long for the Sweet 16 game between Kansas and Michigan to get chippy. The Jayhawks' Elijah Johnson hit Mitch McGary right in the groin. Although that kind of play would usually be called a flagrant 2 foul (accompanied by an ejection), Johnson was tagged with a flagrant 1 and allowed to remain in the game.
