Joe Montana thinks rules officials are 'full of crap' over the Tiger Woods penalty
Tiger Woods was greeted Saturday morning with the unfortunate news that he earned a two-stroke penalty for an illegal drop, after a review of footage showed that he moved his ball to an incorrect position while playing No. 15 on Saturday. Rules officials saw nothing wrong with Woods' drop on Friday, but a further review was initiated after officials received a call from a viewer and Tiger admitted moving the drop in a televised interview, and an Augusta National rules committee then decided to dock Woods two strokes.
The situation is unusual, to say the least, and many viewers, including four-time Super Bowl champion Joe Montana, are miffed at the ruling.
