Scenes from Wednesday's emotive Boston Bruins game

In the first major sporting event held in Boston since Monday's horrific explosions at the Boston Marathon, the Bruins took on the Buffalo Sabres at TD Garden. Below are a few of the gestures of support that popped up from fans and teams.

After the game, both the Bruins and Sabres went out on the ice to give a stick salute to the crowd.
