Softball fan saves face using iPad
Tiffany Morgan loves the girls on the University of Illinois softball team. She is such a fan that she, her parents, and her grandfather drove to Cedar Falls, Iowa, to watch a practice where they all saw this man use his iPad as a catchers mask.
An amateur videographer at a Northern Iowa softball game was saved from what would surely have been a gruesome facial injury by the unlikeliest of shields — his iPad.
It appears the iPad survived the assault, and the man filmed the next pitch. Remember, the next time you judge someone for using an iPad as a camera, it could save your life.
