New Orleans is officially the Pelicans, so remember the Hornets

The 2012-13 NBA regular season hasn't been over a day, but one franchise is already making a major move. The New Orleans Hornets officially became the New Orleans Pelicans, proudly announcing the change across all of their social channels.

The Pelicans have come a long way since their inaugural season in 1988-89. A new city, a new name, and plenty of new faces.
