Over two centuries old, the White House has experienced its fair share of ghostly sightings and odd bump-in-the-night noises.
There have been accounts of paranormal encounters with long-gone residents, including one of our founding fathers, Thomas Jefferson, the third president of the United States. The most well-known spirit to haunt the White House is without question Abraham Lincoln's ghost, the 16th president.
