Here's where the largest snowfall will happen this week at ski resorts

Snowfall predictions in the West

"I’m forecasting two different cold fronts for the Intermountain West through Jan. 26 with light to moderate snow accumulation. Colorado and Montana ski resorts have the best chance of seeing moderate snow, with up to 8 inches possible at some ski areas," said Tomer. "It continues to be a relatively dry period for California."

Snowfall predictions in the Northeast

In the Northeast, one to two different storm systems deliver light to moderate snow accumulation.
