California and the West brace for storms, Lake Tahoe could see 2 feet of snow, Colorado, a foot

Snow forecast in the West
"Out West, high pressure gives way to a deep trough and two to three different storm systems between March 12 and March 18 with heavy snow accumulation and colder air," said Tomer. "A number of ski resorts could see more than two feet of snow this week."
Snow forecast in the Northeast
"In the Northeast, I’m not forecasting any major storm systems until potentially late March 16 through March 17," Tomer said.
