Who's playing who: 2025 NBA play-in and playoff bracket.
Games begin April 15 to determine the final 16 teams to play in the NBA playoffs.
The stage is set for final round of NBA play-in games tonight (April 18) after two 10 seeds won Wednesday night. The Miami Heat defeated the Chicago Bulls 109-90 in the East and the Dallas Mavericks defeated the Sacramento Kings 120-106 in the West.
Earlier this week, the Orlando Magic defeated the Atlanta Hawks 120-95, and the Golden State Warriors defeated the Memphis Grizzlies 121-116, which sent the two 8 seeds to Friday's "win or go home" games. In the East, the Atlanta Hawks will face the Miami Heat, and in the West, the Memphis Grizzlies will face the Dallas Mavericks.
It's a lot to unpack, but the bracket below will make things much clearer.

Here's how the play-in format works: The teams that finish seventh through 10th in the Western and Eastern conferences face off in the play-in tournament to determine the final seventh and eighth seeds. Those teams then slide over into the official bracket to play the one and two seeds in each conference.
