Robin recs trailers for 'Protecting Their Child,' 'Worth the Risk,' 'Escapement'
Hello, friends!
This week I've been living in "Book Release Crazytown" with the release of my latest, Playing the Part. It has been a fun, exciting and exhilarating ride, and it never gets old. Each time feels like the first time. If you like sexy, bad-boy movie stars — check it out!
Angi Morgan always crafts a suspenseful book that features a sexy hero, and Protecting Their Child is a great one. The trailer is simple in it's execution, but the map imagery, the soundtrack, the images and the script all come together to increase tension and draw you into the story. Simple. Evocative. Perfect. Well done!
I love a story of second chances and reunited lovers, and Anne Lange delivers both with Worth the Risk. Her trailer features simple, evocative images that convey the storyline perfectly and let the script shine. The easygoing melody of the soundtrack offsets the conflict of the story and supports the tension build-up. I can totally see myself curled up on a lounge chair reading this book.
The trailer for Escapement by Ciara Knight is edgy and intriguing from the first notes of the heavy metal, discordant soundtrack to the last gritty image. I love the script, which makes it clear that the stakes of life and love are very high. This trailer really rocked my socks!
Remember: You can refer book trailers for a feature spot in the column. They need to be romances (any genre is OK), and I will take a look. You can send your suggestions to robin@robincovingtonromance.com.
