Sarah MacLean puts names to her Scoundrels' faces, part 2

Sarah MacLean's next book in the Rules of Scoundrels series, No Good Duke Goes Unpunished, comes out late this month (Nov. 26). To help us wallow in the excitement, Sarah joins us to "cast" each of the Scoundrels. Last week we got to meet A Rogue by Any Other Name's Bourne, who looks a lot Michael Fassbender. Yum! Today, we get Sarah's take on Cross (Jasper Arlesey, Earl Harlow) of One Good Earl Deserves a Lover

Sarah: Cross is supertall and superginger ... and though he's dead sexy, there's something about him that's not entirely conventionally handsome.

To be totally honest, Cross is physically based on a real-life person ... a man who I quite literally ran into while Christmas shopping in Copley Plaza in Boston in the early 2000s. I wasn't paying attention, and I collided with him in front of Tiffany's.

He caught me by the shoulders, and apologized like a total gentleman ... and he was so tall and so darn pretty that I went fully stupid. You know what I mean. Couldn't say anything, couldn't do really anything but blink up at him like a dummy.

But ... if I had to pick a celebrity lookalike? Max Martini from Revenge and Saving Private Ryan ... a handsome, deep-voiced redhead who is just handsome enough.

Check in with HEA next Thursday to meet Temple of No Good Duke Goes Unpunished.
