Favorite celebs, Ben & Jerry's flavors and classic TV ... fun!

Today's featured authors: Bobbi Cole Meyer, author of Uncensored Passion; Nancy Naigle, author of Mint Juleps and Justice; and MK Schiller, author of A Girl by Any Other Name. We're talking favorite celebs (Julia Roberts!), former TV shows (Charlie's Angels!) and favorite Ben & Jerry's flavors (Cinnamon Buns!).

Bobbi Cole Meyer, author of Uncensored Passion

Three of my favorite celebrities:

• In my opinion, Dean Cain was the best ever Superman ever. As a real person he is always ready to lend his celebrity to our troops, trying to make a difference. He is ungodly handsome, yet presents himself as humble and easily accessible. Dean absolutely lights up the screen whenever he is on it and is every red-blooded woman's dream guy — for sure he's mine.

Julia Roberts is a wife and mom first and a movie "star" second. I admire her for creating a secure home life, keeping out of the "Hollywood limelight trap" and just being an all-around great person and role model. She maintains a classy dignity that is unfailing and that is rare in today's chaotic world, especially for celebrities.

Tom Selleck is the personification of a gentleman. He presents himself as humble and grateful for what life has brought his way. He recognizes a higher authority than any agent put him on top and keeps him there. He is the kind of man who makes you feel secure, loved, desired and comfortable.

Here's the blurb about Uncensored Passion (book one in the Men of Passion Series):

A contemporary erotic series about the passions and devotion of five men to the one woman who loves them all...

Kayla Saradon is a beautiful, respected psychiatrist who her friends claim has discovered the fountain of youth. Kayla wonders what her friends would say if they knew her secret is the polyandry lifestyle she shares with her four, studly "husbands" — each skilled in his own sexual specialty?

Then PI Trey Sean Cameron, who is secretly investigating her lifestyle, explodes into her life. The ex-Army Special Forces operative raises emotions Kayla can neither control nor contain. Can Trey — a demanding and possessive lover — ever share in her lifestyle? If not, how far will she go to keep him?

Nancy Naigle, author of Mint Juleps and Justice

Three of me favorite TV shows that are no longer on the air:

• Love Boat. Never missed an episode. I love those happy-ever-afters.

Charlie's Angels. Back in the '70s those gals kicked butt and together they could get through anything ... just like me and my gals!

Big Brother. Yes, I even applied three times. Why won't they pick me?!?!?

Here's the blurb about Mint Juleps and Justice:

Welcome to Adams Grove…where wrongs are righted with just desserts.

Luck abandoned Brooke Justice during her nasty divorce. Desperate to escape her malicious ex-husband, she relocated to the small town of Adams Grove, Virginia. When someone breaks into her new house, she suspects her ex bears the blame for the crime. With no evidence and little help from the police, she asks a private investigator to take her case—a private investigator whose sexy broad shoulders and stunning blue eyes make her question her decision to swear off relationships forever.

Mike Hartman fled Adams Grove when a devastating loss left his heart in pieces. After years overseas in the military, he's finally returned home, determined to start anew as a private investigator. Then Brooke walks into his office, awakening something he hasn't felt in years. Can they both move on…into each other's arms? Or will the pain of the past—and the dangerous threat lurking in the present—destroy their new beginning?

MK Schiller, author of A Girl by Any Other Name

Three of my favorite Ben and Jerry's flavors:

• Cherry Garcia. Partially because I love the late great, Jerry Garcia.

• Cinnamon Buns. Because it brings back a lot of memories of walking around the mall for hours as a teenager.

• Chocolate Fudge Brownie. Because as stated above, I love anything chocolate.

Here's the blurb about A Girl by Any Other Name:

Everyone tells him he needs to move on, but how can a man function without his heart? Ten-year-old Caleb Tanner wants nothing to do with Sylvie Cranston, the annoying weird girl who moves next door to him and gets him in trouble for swearing. But at twelve, they become friends when he teaches her how to hook a fishing line and she shows him the value of a selfless act. At fourteen, he falls in love with her. At sixteen, she dies. Or so he's told. But Cal never believes it. Sylvie has become part of his soul. He knows her like the steady beating of his own heart. He'd know if she was dead. Cal looks for her, prays for her and finally he just waits for her. Nine years later, she walks into the community college English class Cal is teaching. Only this girl claims her name is Sophie Becker and she doesn't know him. Cal knows better. He's determined to get the girl he loves back—and protect her from the danger that took her away all those years ago.
