Must-see book trailers: 'Love Me to Death,' 'Stealing the Moon and Stars'

Friends,

If you are in the Baltimore area this weekend, plan on stopping by the Baltimore Book Festival. Set this year on the Inner Harbor this is the place to be for all book lovers, and if you adore romance, you must hang out in the Maryland Romance Writers tent. I'll be there with authors Laura Kaye, Jennifer L. Armentrout, Cora Carmack, Tessa Bailey, Avery Flynn, Kimberly Kincaid and many, many more.

See you there!

The trailer for Love Me to Death by Marissa Clarke is dark and suspenseful. Highlighting where the undead exist and warring factions keep everyone on the edge of danger, all of the video elements came together to heighten your tension. The images — both still and action — are alternated through the video, and they keep the pace moving and keep you watching. Well done!

Stealing the Moon & Stars by Sally J. Smith and Jean Steffens is a romantic suspense with a fun P.I. heroine. Once again, the soundtrack immediately pulled me into the storyline and is effectively used to ratchet up the tension at the right time. Some of the images have a dark humor to them that complements the voice of the script. I really liked it.
