The In Death series, set in the year 2058, arrived on bookstore shelves in 1995 with Naked In Death, which introduced readers to New York homicide detective Eve Dallas and Irish billionaire Roarke. They fall in love in book one, are engaged by the end of book two, Glory In Death, and tie the knot after the end of book three, Immortal In Death. The next 36 books have tracked their intense (and hot!) love affair, Eve's homicide cases (which Roarke always seems to manage to get involved in) and the lives and loves of their beloved friends.
