Today's featured authors: Kathleen Eagle, author of Never Trust A Cowboy; Andrea Laurence, author of Snowed in With Her Ex; and Abby Green, author of Fonseca's Fury. They're sharing three things they each do to relax and de-stress.

• I live in Minnesota, so relaxation options are seasonal. We're having one of our January cold snaps at the moment, so I'll hop on the stationary bike and watch a Timberwolves basketball game. Given the way my woofies' season is going, that might sound stressful, but this is my team. I enjoy watching these kids grow. And I'm reminded that cold snaps don't last forever.
• Come spring, nothing de-stresses better than digging in the dirt. Stuck for a word? Go outside and plant something.
• And then there's my ever-joyful adopted black Lab, who will chase the tennis ball all day long come rain, snow, sleet or shine. Her no-worries outlook rubs off on me every time we play.

With a day job, a busy writing career and a home and family to take care of, I am always looking for great ways to unwind and relax.
• One of my favorite ways, of course, is to pile up in bed with a great book. As a writer, I am first and foremost a reader.
• I also enjoy spending time with my closest friends. Nothing is better than an afternoon or evening of laughter with the people who know me the best. Laughter is truly the best medicine.
• My third method of de-stressing is a work in progress — I aspire to meditate. I don't do it as often as I want to, or I should, but when I take the time to be silent and still, I do feel better.
Those are the ways I try to cope with life's stresses, and if all else fails ... drink wine!

• I go to the cinema; I love to go in the middle of the day during the week when everyone else is hard at work.
• I go for a long walk, preferably followed by a massage and an early night. ; )
