Must-see book trailers: 'Miami Hush Club,' 'The Midnight Rake'
Friends,
My love affair with audiobooks continues this week, and I also picked up a subscription to Scribd. Who knew they had all those Suzanne Brockmann books on audio? I might have to quit the day job to stay home and just listen all day long. But before I can dive into SB's books, I'm listening to Frenched by Melanie Harlow. It is fun and cute and sweetly sexy, and I find myself sitting in my car just a few minutes longer to listen.
The trailer for Miami Hush Club by Michelle Warren is like taking a 35-second trip to Miami. The driving beat has a Latin flair with a slick disco back beat, the visuals are lush and sexy, and I can feel the humidity curling my hair. And the overall vibe is perfectly in sync with this contemporary romantic suspense. Great job!

Anabelle Bryant's video for The Midnight Rake is on the opposite end of the spectrum. Sedate, romantic and classically lovely, it draws you into the story of the impoverished heroine who needs help and the rakish bachelor who falls for her along the way. I was charmed.
