Jennifer Probst: 5 exciting things about 'Searching for Beautiful' in audio
Jennifer Probst joins HEA to share her excitement for Searching for Beautiful (out today!) and indulge us with an excerpt from the audiobook.
Jennifer: Now that Searching for Beautiful is being released into the world, I'm really excited to get the audiobook version out to my readers. I LOVE audio — I can't tell you how many times readers have let me know how much fun it is to listen to my books while cleaning, commuting or exercising — and thanking me for helping their tasks be more fun!
Here are FIVE things I'm excited to hear on the Searching for Beautiful audiobook!
1. My narrator! I adore Madeleine Maby and the skill she brings to my characters, making them come alive. She's recorded almost all of my books for the Marriage to a Billionaire and Searching For series, and my readers always tell me how much they love her! Hearing Madeleine bring Wolfe and Gen to audio is one of the things I'm most looking forward to. Her stellar reviews consistently show she's a fan fave!
2. Wolfe. Just ... Wolfe. He's hot. Tragic. Tattooed. Intense. Funny. Damaged. Did I say hot? He's one of the best heroes I've ever written, and the anticipation of connecting with his voice gives me goose bumps!
3. Getting to listen to the MacKenzie and Conte family again! GUYS! I'm seriously freaking out about re-connecting my readers with all of my favorite characters from the Marriage to a Billionaire series! Not only do we see my all-time-favorite meddler and mentor, Mama Conte, we get swept back to Italy and peek in on Julietta and Sawyer! AND ... we get to see Alex and Nick from The Marriage Bargain and the whole MacKenzie clan. There is nothing better than peeking in on my beloved characters. I just know you will all love it! (Sorry for the exclamation points, but I'm getting excited!)
4. The big, raw, emotional, tear-jerker scene where Wolfe tells the truth about his past. That's all I can say. It wrecked me to write it and I barely recovered. I hope you will feel the same.
5. The awesome, curl-your-toes, wickedly sexy, steamy, hot sex scene. I barely recovered from that scene, too! There was so much sexual tension going on, I collapsed after they finally … finished. I hope you will LOVE it!
That's it! Thanks so much for letting me share my top five list!!
Here's the blurb about Searching for Beautiful (courtesy of Gallery Books):
The highly anticipated third novel in the Searching For series from Jennifer Probst, "one of the most exciting breakout novelists" (Paste BN), featuring a runaway bride and the man who wants to be more than just her best friend…
Genevieve MacKenzie has her life completely under control. About to wed the charming Chief doctor at the local hospital, she's an up-and-coming surgeon with everything she could ever want. Until an escape through the church window on the day of her wedding sends her life into a tailspin…and flings her right into her best friend's arms.
When Wolfe catches his best friend falling out a window on her wedding day, he doesn't ask questions. He whisks her away, determined to watch over her and discover the truth behind her desperate escape. But when his feelings turn more than platonic, he realizes he may risk his most important relationship in order to protect his damaged heart, and the woman he loves.
Can Genevieve and Wolfe's friendship turn into something deeper—or is it already too late for true love?
