Reader Meet-Up: Invite to Miami's Delano hotel

Who'd like to join me on Wednesday night (Nov. 7) for a VIP tour of Miami's Delano hotel?

I'm excited to extend an invitation to up to 35 readers to join me at the iconic Delano, which has just emerged from a $10 million renovation.

At 7 p.m., we'll assemble inside the Delano and tour the facilities, including the new media room and Italian restaurant. Hotel executives will be on hand to take feedback from our group.

Back on July 15, Hotel Check-In held a reader meet-up in New York at the Westin Times Square just before the hotel announced a full renovation of its guest rooms.

Delano faces fresh competition

This well-known Art Deco hotel is part of the New York-based boutique hotel company, Morgans Hotel Group, which is in the process of creating other Delano-brand hotels around the world in places such as Las Vegas and Marrakech.

The Delano's makeover comes as it faces new competition from its South Beach neighbor, the SLS.
