Today's Pick: Announcing the First-Ever YouTube Music Awards

The Topic: YouTube gets into the music awards business with the announcement of the first annual YouTube Music Awards. The awards show will be streamed live from New York on Nov. 3, and feature performances from Eminem, Lady Gaga, Arcade Fire and YouTube-fueled phenomenons such as the music-video collective CDZA and violinist Lindsey Stirlin. All of the musical guests appear (off-stage) in the below introductory video from host Jason Schwartzman.
