Keith Urban, 46, whose long, straight hair has been a signature look for him, has cut it off!

He shared this selfie on Twitter. Just before posting the new look, he shared a shot of his barber chair and hair on the floor, giving fans a warning: "Snow ain't the only thing falling in Nashville today!! -KU"

Maybe it was just to have a new look for American Idol, which starts a new season Jan. 15.

Fan reaction seems to be mixed, and more than one person has said he's now got a Jennifer Lawrence look.
