Batman, 'Frozen' highlight new Madame Alexander dolls

You know Batman. Now meet Bat-baby doll.

The longtime New York City-based Madame Alexander Doll Co. has a refreshed branding strategy in 2015 aimed at moms and girls with new high-end toy collections featuring DC Comics characters, Crayola, NASCAR, Disney, Alice in Wonderland, The Wizard of Oz and Gone with the Wind. The upcoming dolls and accessories will be on display Feb. 14-17 when Toy Fair invades New York's Javits Center.

The DC line of keepsake "Collection" and cute "Play" dolls features Batman with a costume reminiscent of Adam West's in the 1960s Batman TV series as well as Wonder Woman, Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn and Catwoman.

For those with little girls who are all about Frozen, Madame Alexander — founded in 1923 by Beatrice Alexander — released Anna and Elsa dolls this past holiday but new Muppets-related merchandise is on its way.

The 150th anniversary of Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland is celebrated with dolls and accessories for preschool-age kids and toddlers, and other new arrivals will include a NASCAR-branded Danica Patrick doll and colorful Pixiedoodles toys with Crayola.
