Noah to welcome Kevin Hart as first 'Daily' guest
Kevin Hart will help Trevor Noah kick off his tenure at The Daily Show Monday (Comedy Central, 11 p.m. ET/PT) as the new host's first guest.
In addition to comedian and actor Hart (Ride Along, The Wedding Ringer), other guests during Noah's first week helming the Comedy Central late-night show include: Whitney Wolfe, founder and CEO of dating app Bumble on Tuesday; New Jersey Governor and Republican presidential candidate Chris Christie on Wednesday; and Ryan Adams, Noah's first musical guest, on Thursday.
Noah succeeds Jon Stewart, the acclaimed host who was honored Sunday with multiple Emmys for the final season of the show. The past and future Daily Show hosts chatted after the Emmys at the Governors Ball and said goodbye with a hug that Noah told Paste BN wasn't a passing of the baton but a way of "celebrating the (New York) Mets and praying that they get into the playoffs."
Episodes of The Daily Show will be available to stream the day after broadcast at thedailyshow.com and the Comedy Central app.
