Rock: Black Sabbath begins the second run of its The End tour at Nikon at Jones Beach Theater in  Wantagh, N.Y. The tour, recently extended by three dates in November, includes stops in Boston, Detroit, Hollywood, Phoenix and Houston.

THURSDAY, 8/18

Watch: A&E's prison docu-series 60 Days In returns for a second season. The two-hour premiere, in which Sheriff Jamey Noel of the Clark County Jail in Indiana chooses a new group of volunteers to go undercover as inmates,  airs at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

FRIDAY, 8/19

See:Ben-Hur, starring Jack Huston as the title character, opens nationwide today. The latest adaptation of the epic story of a prince falsely accused of treason and forced into slavery also stars Morgan Freeman, Nazanin Boniadi and Rodrigo Santoro.
