Read: For Star Trek fans, The Fifty-Year Mission: The Next 25 Years:  From The Next Generation to J. J. Abrams: The Complete, Uncensored, and Unauthorized Oral History of Star Trek by Mark A. Altman and Edward Gross hits bookstores today. The bold adventure is the second of two volumes; the first was released  in June.

WEDNESDAY, 8/31

Watch: Catch the season finale of Greenleaf, the scripted drama set against the backdrop of a Memphis megachurch starring Keith David, Lynn Whitfield and Oprah Winfrey. The episode, titled "What Are You Doing Here," airs at 10 p.m. ET/PT on OWN.

THURSDAY, 9/1

FRIDAY, 9/2

Stream: Season 2 of Narcos premieres today on Netflix. The 10-episode series picks up where Season 1 left off and follows the manhunt for narcotics kingpin Pablo Escobar. Wagner Moura returns as Escobar alongside Boyd Holbrook and Pedro Pascal as DEA agents Steve Murphy and Javier Peña.
