Adventure Maine coon cats hike outdoors with family

VANCOUVER ISLAND, B.C. - This kitty is a trailblazer for adventure cats everywhere. Fig the Maine coon cat goes on hiking excursions with her humans.
Chelsea Robinson said having to quarantine during the COVID-19 pandemic pushed her to get a kitty companion. Her and her family included Fig on their outdoor excursions where he enjoyed scratching trees, frolicking on the beach, and taking in the views from his cat backpack.
"If your cat loves going out with you, take them out and just enjoy yourself," Robinson said. She hopes Fig continues to inspire other adventure cats around the world.
