Ducklings jump from bridge in viral video to meet mother duck in water
Who knew a leap of faith could bring a whole community together?
When a group of ducklings gathered on the ledge of the Westside Highway Bridge in New York City, onlookers held their breath to witness a courageous plunge into the water below.
With the mother duck waiting patiently, each duckling slowly gathered the nerve to jump, prompting cheers from the crowd.

"Everyone was giddy and we all felt so united," said Abigail Decter, who captured the sweet video.
When a few timid ducklings held back, the much-needed encouragement from the crowd, gave them the push they needed to reunite with their mom in the water.
"It was a beautiful moment watching everyone come together to appreciate this milestone for the ducklings," said Decter.
