The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival lineup dropped earlier this week, which means it is almost time for music fans to return to the desert and take in good tunes, surprise guests, and plenty of fun all weekend long.

The 2025 festival will be held April 11-13 and April 18-20 in Indio.

Here's what you need to know about the headliners, passes, and places to stay.

Where is Coachella 2025?

Coachella occurs at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, about 40 minutes from Palm Springs.

Who are the Coachella 2025 headliners?

Lady Gaga, Green Day, and Post Malone will headline, and Travis Scott will "design the desert," what's been previously called the "returning to the desert" slot.

The "Bad Romance" singer previously headlined Coachella in 2017, when she had to step-in to replace Beyoncé, who dropped out due to her pregnancy.

Green Day will be making its Coachella debut next spring, but frontman Billie Joe Armstrong has performed at the festival as a special guest of The Replacements in 2014.

Post Malone performed at Coachella in 2018 and joined headliner Bad Bunny's during his 2023 set. In 2024, he performed at Stagecoach, which was jam-packed with special guests.

Scott made his only Coachella appearance in 2017. He was originally scheduled to headline the festival in 2020 before it was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Other notable acts scheduled to perform include Missy Elliott, Charli XCX, Megan Thee Stallion, Gustavo Dudamel & LA Phil, The Go-Gos, Zedd, FKA twigs, and BLACKPINK members Jennie, and Lisa, who will perform as solo artists.

How can I buy Coachella 2025 passes?

Passes can be registered for or purchased at coachella.com.

Presale begins at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 22. The Coachella website advises patrons "for your best chance at passes, look to Weekend 2."

General Admission passes for Weekend 1 start at $599 and at $549 for Weekend 2 (service fees are included in both prices). VIP passes start at $1,399 for Weekend 1 and $1,199 for Weekend 2.

A Festival Pass is a single wristband that is worn all three days.

Where can I stay?

Hotel Packages are available for those who want to bundle their passes with local accommodations and shuttle passes.

Featured hotels are in Palm Springs, Rancho Mirage, Palm Desert, Indian Wells, La Quinta, and Indio. Prices depend on the room type, number of guests, and pass type, but the lowest price is around $3,000.

Hotel prices tend to increase significantly during the festival weekends in the Coachella Valley. Guests can expect to see rooms costing hundreds of dollars a night at a Motel 6 or Holiday Inn Express.

Patrons can also look to home rental sites like Airbnb and Vrbo for more options.
