Here's why Emily Blunt and John Krasinski tweeted a photo of their daughter

Their daughter Hazel was born in February, but John Krasinski and Emily Blunt waited three months to show her off to the world.
And when they did, they tweeted a free photo. Their choice was governed by necessity and pragmatism.
"Since having a baby, I am going to get more protective and paparazzi get more aggressive. That’s why John and I tweeted a picture of Hazel. I hated the thought of there being a price tag on my child’s head — and there was. I don't want anyone to get money from a picture of my baby," Blunt told us.
The snap was sent by Krasinski, who is on Twitter, and had a message: "Pics of kids should only come direct from parents. So I'm thrilled to introduce you guys to Hazel!!!"
Blunt is not on Twitter. Nor will she ever be.
"I'm not. I can't. It's not a natural, organic thing for me. I'm forgetful. I'm a daydreamer. I forget to document stuff," says Blunt.
She's not remotely into the whole manic selfie culture of over-documentation.
"I feel like such a grandma," she jokes. "I went to a Bruce Springsteen concert. I looked down at one point and it was just a sea of iPhones. It's just social currency, isn't it?"
