'Opie & Anthony' show DJ at center of major racist rant

Opie & Anthony are longtime shock jocks. But Sirius XM's Anthony Cumia is at the center of a Twitter tirade that might top any of their other stunts.

Here's what happened:

Cumia was apparently trying to take a picture in Times Square when a woman walked into the frame and got ticked off at being photographed.

Cumia, 53, says in tweets that she called him a "white mother(expletive)" and punched him repeatedly. He was then harassed by “5 blacks.”

Gawker also posted many of his tweets about it, in which he says the "switch to violence was immediate. No discussion. Just violence."

He called her an animal.

He said the incident happened because he's white.

Tons of

are now rolling in, many accusing Cumia of being racist and dumb.

And many are defending him.
