Taylor Swift knows how to get her fan base excited: Play Blue's Clues to tease an announcement. Well, we obediently fell for her clever marketing plan, and followed all of her clues. They were:

Clue #1

Taylor Swift hits floor 18 like 6 times. Will her new album have 18 songs?! Is music coming on the 18th of some month?! Is she shooting the video to a forthcoming song called 18 in an elevator?!

Clue #2

5? For her fifth album?! is it 5 o'clock somewhere?! Are Polaroid cameras making a comeback?!

Clue #3

Something with Yahoo! Now we are totally lost. WHAT IS IT?!

The big reveal!

Oooooh. So on the 18th  of August at 5 p.m., Taylor will be performing live on Yahoo! Now we get it, but we were really hoping that she'd be shooting a video on an elevator where everyone was having happy hour and screaming "Yahoo!" Too bad.
