What's Viola Davis' Emmys secret? It's in her clutch
It's amazing what some women can get into their teeny tiny clutches, but Viola Davis wins the Emmy for best (and smartest) surprise: A pair of flats.
Two-time Oscar nominee Davis, who's starring in a new series, How to Get Away With Murder, was resplendent on the red carpet in a bright blue Escada gown with an embroidered bodice and a plunging neckline.

She carried a shiny, sparkly red clutch, which contained her “fashion surprise.” She opened up the tiny purse for Paste BN's amazed Bill Keveney and Andrea Mandell:
“I have my flats in my purse,” she confided.
