Sofia Vergara tells Emmys sexism critics to 'lighten up'

Plenty of people were none too pleased with Emmys producers' decision to put Modern Family star Sofia Vergara on display like a county fair prize, but the Colombian beauty doesn't seem to mind the gag at all.

She sent a message, via Entertainment Weekly, to all the critics who decried the stunt as troubling and sexist.
I think it's absolutely the opposite. It means that somebody can be hot and also be funny and make fun of herself. I think it’s ridiculous that somebody started this —I know who she was — who has no sense of humor (and should) lighten up a little bit.
Not sure who that mystery hater is, but we gotta ask: Are you #TeamSofia or #TeamHater?
