Drew Carey offers $10,000 reward for cruel ice bucket prank
Stars are rallying after news broke of an awful prank played on an autistic teen in Ohio.
What happened:
A teenager with autism in Bay Village, Ohio, stripped down to his boxers to do the Ice Bucket Challenge, but instead of doing the now-famous ALS charity stunt, high school students dumped a bucket of urine, feces, spit, and cigarette butts on him.
Criminal charges could be brought:
Police were called to investigate. They said on Friday they are interviewing students and working to determine who might be responsible. Det. Kevin Krolkosky told Cleveland's Fox 8 that whoever did it could face juvenile deliquency charges.
Parents have rallied:
A vigil was held Friday night.
Drew Carey and Jenny McCarthy got involved:
Drew Carey, who is from the Cleveland area, quickly got involved, offering a $10,000 reward. Jenny McCarthy followed him, upping the reward to $20,000.
Jenny's new hubby, Donnie Wahlberg
