Is Betsey Johnson doomed on 'Dancing With the Stars'?

Poor Betsey Johnson.

The 72-year-old designer and her partner, Tony Dovolani, came out Monday night on the premiere of DWTS raring to go.

Before they danced, Tony had this to say about the colorful Johnson:
"I think if you open up Betsey's mind, there's a circus going on."
Their dance to Material Girl was going fine, until a feathery boa just wouldn't cooperate on the ballroom dance floor.

Needless to say, she was bummed. Of course the judges had to give her low scores. She's at the bottom of the leader board going into tonight's elimination show.
