'7th Heaven' star Catherine Hicks: Stephen Collins is 'a good guy'

Catherine Hicks, who played Stephen Collins' wife on 7th Heaven, was caught by a videographer and asked about the Stephen Collins news.

She said, "I have nothing to say, nothing to hide. Stephen's a good guy in my opinion," she says in the TMZ video.

As for the on the 7th Heaven set, nobody had any idea? "Gosh, no."

And Kyle Searles, an actor who played a friend to Martin (a kid who lived with the Camden family for awhile) on the show, talked to TMZ and said he never saw any hint of anything out of the ordinary on the set. He was on the show from 2004-2007.

"Stephen was somebody I looked up to. ... Stephen was, by far, the most likable, genuine person I ever had the pleasure of working with. ... He was definitely a father figure to everyone on set."
