Gabby Gwyneth is tongue-tied by POTUS

This must be a first: Gwyneth Paltrow momentarily speechless.

She was so overcome by President Obama's good looks, she said, she couldn't speak at a star-studded Democratic fundraiser she hosted for him Thursday night at her Los Angeles-area home.

Yes, the woman who can't stop gabbing on GOOP and even invented a new phrase to describe divorce ("conscious uncoupling"), suddenly was tongue-tied when Obama arrived in her Brentwood backyard for a DNC fundraiser for about 250 big spenders.

But it was in the pool reports and the Associated Press reports so it must be true: In a brief introduction punctuated by "ums," Paltrow told Obama, "I am one of your biggest fans, if not the biggest.”

She called him an "incredible role model" for this generation, praised his sustainable energy efforts and his push for equal pay, which she said was “very important to me as a working mother.”

She wrapped up by saying Obama is "so handsome that I can't speak properly."

It wasn't the first time Paltrow has hosted a fundraiser for Obama: She did one in London for ex-pats during Obama’s re-election campaign in 2012.

Her two children, Apple and Moses, with Chris Martin of Coldplay, from whom she consciously uncoupled, were at the party, along with stars including Julia Roberts and Bradley Whitford, according to The Wrap.

Obama, as usual, wasn't tongue-tied. He said Paltrow helped make a difference for his 2012 campaign, according to the White House transcript.

"I want to thank Gwyneth and Apple and Moses for letting us crash your house," Obama told the laughing crowd. "I promised that I would put everything back."
