It looks like Halloween is going to be a Groot night!

According to a Fandango poll of over one thousand movie fans, the sentient tree from Guardians of the Galaxy is the most popular movie-themed costume this year for men. For women, it's the evil Maleficent, and two different Jennifer Lawrence-inspired costumes.

Here are the top 2014 movie costumes for adults:

Female:

1. Maleficent (Angelina Jolie in Maleficent)
