This is what it's like when Gisele touches you

This happened in a very, very crowded Chelsea space, as Gisele Bundchen, starring in a Chanel No. 5 film directed by Baz Luhrmann, walked in, playfully posed for photos, and then answered questions arm in arm with her director.

In the clip that we previewed, we saw her as a power woman who surfs, raises kids and still gets her man. Which in turn led me to ask Gisele when she felt most womanly and empowered.

"I like physical exercise. I like challenging myself in that way. You take that energy and use it when you're dealing with your children, your husband, your life," said Bundchen.

Not for nothing is Gisele sitting pretty: According to Forbes, she's the world's highest paid supermodel, earning an estimated $47 million in 12 months. On a lighter note, I told her she looked unreal for having had two children.

Bundchen responded with a giggle and a "you're so sweet," followed by that arm touch: feathery, dainty, casual, gentle.

So was it tough shooting a short film, as opposed to a still magazine ad, and being required to perform?

"I'm not an actress. I'm dealing with a camera that is still. It's very easy to control that. In a movie there are cameras everywhere so you have to really trust," said Bunchen.
