Oh, the betrayal: Bruce Jenner dating Kris Jenner's BFF?

Looks like the newly single Bruce Jenner has new arm candy to go with his new long hair, and ex-wife Kris is none too pleased about who it is: her (presumably now former) best friend. The rumors picked up steam after the two took in an Elton John concert in early October.

TMZ.com reports that Bruce is seeing Ronda Kamihira, Kris' BFF (well, at for least the last 20 years, which pretty much is an eternity in celebrity friendships). The story paints Kris as "torn up" and "sobbing every night."

Not so fast, says E!, the last bastion of  the pro-Kardashian camp.

"Ronda is one of Bruce's longtime best friends in the world," an unnamed mutual friend told the cable network. "They are definitely not dating. Trust me, anyone suggesting that is barking up the wrong tree."

Well, all right,then.
