Dubious fashion choice of the day: Sofia Vergara

Sofia Vergara, sultry star of Modern Family, always brings the glam.

Normally, she dazzles on the red carpet.

But at Monday night's Angel Ball, she left us, frankly, flummoxed, with her patchwork Rubin Singer number.

This dress has stripes, metallics, major pouf, lots of cleavage, and a whole lot of -- everything.

What it did not have, as its sidekick, is her boyfriend, Joe Manganiello.
