Ta-da! Ginnifer Goodwin turns into Tinker Bell's best friend (fairy exclusive)
That's some serious fairy magic.
Ginnifer Goodwin has transformed dramatically from Once Upon a Time's Snow White to play Fawn in the new Disney Fairies adventure Tinker Bell and the Legend of the NeverBeast.
These exclusive pictures show that Goodwin is now literally smaller than blueberries and has wings. Oh, and her look is definitely right for the part of Tinker Bell's BFF (Best Fairy Forever ... OK, that's our term).
Goodwin is also still working out some of the terminology for her new animal-loving character.
"Instead of tinking, she is an animal fairy. She ... animals? What would her verb be? She loves, cares for and raises animals."
The new verb "animals" could totally catch on.
And Fawn will also bring plenty of other qualities to drive the Steve Loter-directed film (due out for in-home entertainment March 3, 2015). As Goodwin explains in a statement:
* "Fawn always thinks with her heart, instead of her head." (That can lead to problems anywhere)
* "She's loving to the point of putting herself and others in danger, actually." (See above)
So that's trouble for the other fairy types including Tinker Bell (Mae Whitman) Rosetta (Megan Hilty) Silvermist (Lucy Liu), Iradessa (Raven-Symone) and maternal Queen Clarion (Angelica Huston).
Just to prove she was right for the part, which is inspired by Loter's own animal-loving daughter, Goodwin showed all heart about getting the voice-part.
Oh my gosh, I cried my eyes out when I got this phone call. Honestly, because, I mean, on top of being a Disneyphile, which is I think is probably common knowledge, I became a Disneyphile because of the Disney animated features. And I love all of the Tinker Bell movies.
