Aaron Paul: 'Breaking Bad' dolls are no worse than Barbie dolls
Think about all the things that Toys R Us sells. Are Breaking Bad action figures the worst of them?
Aaron Paul doesn't think so.
The star of the AMC series jumped on Twitter to rant about the news that the toy company was pulling its Breaking Bad dolls after a Florida mom complained that figures sent a bad message.
The dolls feature high-school chemistry teacher Walter White and his sidekick, Jesse Pinkman. The toys have a detachable bag of cash and a bag of methamphetamines.
Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston was quick to snark about the situation.
After they were pulled, he added:
Paul followed that with more of a rant, suggesting that the Bad figures aren't any worse than a certain hourglass-shaped action figure that's been around for decades, or the violent video games that are sold by the store.
He's urging fans to sign a petition to keep the Breaking Bad guys on the shelves.
